This page shows various maxima and minima from the data recorded by our weather stations. It's updated daily at 21:30.

Notes


• Hover over or long-press highlighted items for a list. Red items are this year, green the previous year.
  
  
• Data comes from a Watson 8681 weather station from 4 May 2010 to 8 April 2021, and an Aercus 3085 from 19 April 2021 (so about 10 days of data is missing).
  
  
• The highest maximum temperature recorded was the record-breaking day of 19 July 2022 (Wikipedia article).
  
  
• The minimum temperature list shows the severe winter of 2010 -- the 6 lowest temperatures recorded are all in November/December of that year (Wikipedia article). December 2010 is also the coldest month.
  
  
• The apparent temperature is the 'feels-like' value from the current weather page.
  
  
• The humidex value is a more accurate measure of how the weather feels to an average person; details here.
  
  
• The warmest/coolest month (day) values are the averages of the maximum daytime temperatures on each day of the month. The (night) values work similarly, for minimum night-time temperatures.
  
  
• Wind run measures the total distance of travelled wind over a period of time; it's used to find the evaporation rate in an area, and to estimate wave heights. More here.
